The REAL Essentials classes are held in room 817 during school hours in 6^th and 7^th period. Students from 10^th to 12^th grade may sign up if they choose to take this class as an elective. The course is 16 weeks meeting every Tuesday and Thursday during the class periods of 6^th and 7^th.  The subject content is understanding yourselves and others, how to communicate better, choosing a partner for dating, setting goals, career development with interview activity, understanding how drugs, alcohol and smoking adversely affect your health and making better decisions regarding sex and relationships.

     There are only 25 spots available, so it is first come first serve. All students will receive a grade in this class that will help in overall grade point in the class they are coming from. Each student receives many items such as a workbook, journal book, pens/pencils, motivational book, waterbottle, hand sanitizer, anti bullying positive message bracelets, snacks, a portfolio with stylus pen, 8  gig flash drive diploma and inspirational coloring book.

    The classes are fun and open to discussion where students can voice their opinions and ask questions. For more information contact Anne Radke at 850-566-4544.
