  • 1. On the 2012 FCAT Writing 19% of the students scored at level 4 or higher.
  • 2. On the 2012 FCAT Writing 19% of black students scored at Level 4 or higher.
  • 3. On the 2012 FCAT Writing, 20% of the economically disadvantaged students scored at Level 4.0 or higher.
  • FLDOE changed the FCAT Writing rubric from 4.0 to 3.0. 80% of students scored proficient on 2012 FCAT Writing, an increase of 13% from the previous year.
